GIET Grishmotsav 2022 GIET has been registered as an independent institute so that it can have sufficient freedom to work efficiently towards fulfilling the institute’s aims. Various committees have been formed to supervise upon the activities of the institute and to provide necessary guidance.

Gujarat Institute of Educational Technology (GIET) Gandhinagar has published Grishmotsav 2022 | GIET ગ્રીષ્મોત્સવ 2022 for Std 1 to 8 for all children Private school children can also participate. From 1st May 2022 (Gujarat Foundation Day) to 5th June 2022 (World Environment Day) for 36 consecutive days.

GIET Grishmotsav 2022 Registration

The institute was established in April 1984 under the INSAT project. The institute has been registered as an independent organization on the 13th December 1994 under the Registration of Societies Act-1860.The institute was started on small-scale bases at a temporary studio in the polytechnic hostel building at Ahmedabad. Subsequently, the essential resources were obtained, the staff was supplemented, technical training was provided to the staff members and other initial steps were taken.

The production of the programmes began from December 1985. The institute moved to its present studio premises subsequently.All the essential resources for the studio were provided to the institute by the government of India. Entire progress of the institute has been the result of valuable guidance from CIET New Delhi and NCERT New Delhi.

GIET is partly funded by Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi. The government of Gujarat provides for majority of financial support since 2003-04.The government of Gujarat, Education Department supervises the administration of the institute. The governing Body and the Executive Committee are responsible for supervising the general activities and policies of the institute.

GIET Vision

The institute is geared to develop educational delivery systems with the changing times.
Producing more quality programmes on subjects like Education, Forest, Health and Panchayat.
GIET intends to broadcast programmes on the private channels.
Providing VCDs to the primary schools / CRCS to build educational video library.
The institute plans to distribute 1000 TV sets and 1000 DVD/ CD players to the primary schools of the state in the next Five Year Plan.
At present the institute owns resources like digital vision mixer, digital non-linier editing set up, digital intercom. The institute intends to convert the rest of the studio resources into a digital format..
GIET targets to achieve more efficiency, better quality and variety in the future broadcasts by empaneling best Directors from the industry.
With the help of EduSat the institute intends to reach up to the most interior areas of the state.

Video of all the activities will also be broadcast from DD Girnar. Children can do the activities even after watching it.If the teachers living in the village are educated of SMC or 2 members or the youth will be involved in this activity, then the relationship with the school society will also be strengthened. These people can also become mentors and help the children of the village in activities.
